Benthic Caress was a one-hour ecoacoustic participatory performance piece, which offered a unique experience in the Tidal Pool at Devils Point, gathering together 100 people to take part in a ‘silent disco’ where the soundtrack was a collection of specially curated sound pieces showcasing work which celebrates the diversity of marine life.

A collaborative project, with artists Alex McKechnie, David Rogers and Adrian Newton improvising live electronic sound on the theme of world religions.
Joined on stage by Muffy, who will be listening to what they are playing and responding with sounds and images. Muffy is a piece of DIY software, designed to improvise sounds and images in response to live musicians.
